We've started baking our Christmas goodies. We are quite traditional, always making pulla, tarts, and gingerbread cookies. And caramel popcorn. And homemade crescent-roll-type soft, buttery buns. And these past couple years the kids each make their own gingerbread house (when the bigger kids were smaller, they would only make a gigantic cookie and decorate it - then same couple years of decorating one house together. Now individual houses- not very big, of course.)
Anyway, here are a few pics from making pulla today.
These four were happy to bake. The three oldest boys chose not to make any. *Sniff*! My little kiddos are growing up. Well, they won't be too big to make and decorate their gingerbread houses! Not yet ...
Ohhh! They are so adorable! They all look very into their baking. So cute!
ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! Good thing I didn't do much baking this year, because this weekend, I ended up bringing home more baked goods and candy than I have ever had in my house. :)
