Show-and-tell :)

Here's lots of show-and-tell ... !!

One budding artist ... (needs a haircut - all of us do, quite desperately!) Mr. D is 9 y.o., and he has an amazing artistic talent. He has the concept of 3-D and of shading down quite well already!
Miss M (age 10) is another amazing artist. It's pretty interesting to see what the kids' choices are for books when we go to the library. My 'artists' often chose books on drawing, painting, etc. (as well as books on 'facts' - M likes animal facts, D likes a variety ... animals, how things work, world record books, etc.)
Monopoly has been the kids' game choice this fall. I joined them one evening (I was the first one broke- so the first one out of the game!) T had a great game that evening - it was fun to play it with them, and we had great chuckles as my money dwindled and his grew so rapidly!
Our oldest child has quite an amazing amount of patience. He wasn't phased when his youngest brother was climbing on him during our Monopoly game! He does lose his patience sometimes, and when he does he lets us know.
Here is a talent I have envied- Miss K is 8, and she can read just as easily in Finnish ...
 as in English.
Our international moves have been very difficult in some ways. But there are some advantages, too, I guess!

Then a few more pictures, just because ...
A very rare moment - C (age 5) fell asleep in the middle of the day!
Mr. L got a whack on his forehead, and sported this lovely band-aid for a couple days!
 Little Miss K :)
And last, but not least, Mr. C. I just loved his choice of 'outside clothes' here! :)
And - all the kiddos just love our two kitties!

  1. Fun pictures! The kids have grown so much, I don't think I would know who's who (of the boys, anyway) unless they were all lined up....
